WVP does not approach your wedding like a cold documentary. Your wedding day is an event that requires attention to detail, to capture the mood of the day you have put so much time and love into planning.
WVP will meet with you to understand your theme, your timing, and your color scheme so that your personalized wedding video will capture the essence of your day. WVP has the technical expertise, artistry, and experience to make your wedding video something you will want to watch over and over. Video production is not a part time or weekend endeavor for us. We do not do more than one wedding per day, so you are never competing for our time.
On the day of your wedding, you are our only customer.

WVP Wedding Video Feature Details
Multi Camera Shoot
Every wedding package includes a two-camera shoot at your ceremony. Two cameras at your ceremony is important to allow us to cut to different camera angles to make the video more interesting and to highlight different segments of your ceremony with different camera angles. Two cameras also reduces the chance of a guest standing up or walking in front of an important shot. We will not do a single camera shoot at a wedding ceremony.
Wireless Microphone on the Groom
Years of experience have shown us that this is the best place to place a wireless microphone during the ceremony. This allows us to capture clear digital audio directly into our cameras so we have clear vows to put onto your video. We also capture the live ambient audio but do not rely on the "house audio" to capture the vows.
Reception Coverage
Our base package covers 2 hours at your reception which allows us to capture most important sections of your reception such as the announcements, first dance, toasts, etc... Additional coverage is available per hour or by purchasing a higher package. Unless the Expanded reception coverage is desired, we shoot the reception looking for highlights.
Reception DVD (@ additional 30 minute reception DVD)
For those who wish to relive more of the dance time that occurs at your reception, we offer this expanded coverage option. In addition to shooting reception and dance highlights, we also shoot more of the general dancing to include on a 2nd DVD showing misc guests dancing.
Photo Montage added to Highlight Reel (60 Photos)
A popular add-on is the growing up or engagement photo montage. Provide WVP with photos or electronic photos and we will put together an emotional photo montage to your choice of music. We do not just throw together the images with fades and automated dissolves, but treat each image to the music that you help us select. The montage will become a chapter segment on your wedding DVD. As an option this montage may be shown at your reception through our projection services.
Wedding Movie Trailer
This is a fun feature to have in your wedding package. You can have the excitement of a movie style fast paced trailer about your wedding. It will be completed within one week of your wedding and placed on our web site which you may advertise or link to your own web page. You, your friends, and your family may watch it over and over while your entire wedding dvd is being edited and delivered. Watch some of our demos to appreciate the excitement your own wedding movie trailer can have.
Love Story
Your Love story is shot and edited a month or so prior to your wedding. This romantic production captures various aspects of your relationship. How you met, what you like, funny or romantic stories are captured in short interviews in a scenic location of your choice. When shown at your reception, there is rarely a dry eye "in the house." Combine this feature with our projection services if your reception hall does not provide projection capabilities.
Engagement Movie Trailer
Planning a wedding is a lot of work! Reduce the stress by capturing the key components of your own engagement time in a fast paced, fun engagement movie trailer. Play it on your web site or myspace to "tease" your guests with your upcoming wedding. Watch some of the demos on our demo page to appreciate how much fun this option is.
Extra DVDs or VHS Tapes
The wedding packages all come with a # of DVDs. Order as many extra copies as you need. Our DVDs are burned from our digital master, and surface printed on a industrial high resolution color thermal printer. We never use inkjet or low resolution mono printers for your DVDs. VHS format tapes available as well.
Projection Services
Would you like to project your Love story, Engagement trailer, or photo montage at your reception, but your reception hall doesn't provide this service? WVP will provide a sound system, DVD player, and bright video projector so your videos may be shown at the reception. We will coordinate with you and your reception hall. The hall only needs to provide a power outlet and a screen or white wall.
Travel Time
2 hours of travel time is included in all our packages. This covers the geographic area that WVP normally provides services for. However, we are happy to travel beyond this "zone for customers who would like to use our services. A nominal fee of $25 for each additional hour of travel allows us to expand our work area.
Extra Hours at the Reception
Our Deluxe, Premium, and Inclusive packages all include 5 hours of reception coverage. Receptions are rarely longer than this time frame. However customers purchasing our base package may want to extend the reception hours from 2 to 4 (for example) without having to upgrade to a higher package.
Upgrade to High Definition
If you have an HDTV or plan to have one in the near future, consider upgrading your wedding to the higher resolution of HD. Your wedding will be shot with HDV 1080i wide screen format cameras. The video will be delivered as HD content on Blu-Ray disk.

WVP guarentees that we will not pressure you to use our services, or upgrade to features you do not want. We simply show you our work, answer all your questions and you decide to use our services or not.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do we know if you are available for our wedding day?
- Just give us a call. We will check our calendar while you are on the phone and let you know if we are available for your wedding day. If we are, you are free to setup a time to meet with us to view wedding samples and answer any questions.
- Do you require a deposit to book the wedding?
- Yes. A $100 deposit is required to book your wedding on our calendar. The balance is due by your wedding day
- I've checked a lot of videoographers and your prices are very competitive. Why?
- We maintain low overhead. We do not book more than one wedding per day. We do not spend much money on advertising. 90% of our business is from referrals from happy customers. Keeping our marketing expenses down allows us to keep our prices very competitive.
- Can I save money by having only one camera at our wedding ceremony?
- No. We will not shoot a ceremony with only one camera. The risk is too high that an important component of your ceremony be missed with a bad angle or a guest walking in front of a camera.
- Is a wedding video really that important if I am having a professional photographer?
- Many brides want a professionally produced wedding video before the wedding. But almost all wish they had one after the wedding. Photographs are an important part of remembering the still moments of your wedding. But nothing captures the essence of your day like a professionally produced wedding video.
- Do you work with other vendors?
- Yes. We work well with your other vendors. We are not a part time company. Our business is video production. We could not stay in business if we did not work well with other vendors. We typically meet with your photographer prior to your wedding to plan out shot locations so there are no problems during your ceremony.
- Do you have professional equipment?
- Our equipment is professional broadcast quality. Our cameras are 3 chip professional cameras that allow us to capture great color detail even in low light conditions. We use UHF wireless microphones to capture your vows from a lapel mic on the groom.
- Do you use lights at our ceremony?
- Our equipment is very good in low light environments like churches. We have never had to use camera lights at a ceremony. The ambient lighting is typically fine. However, at receptions they can get very dark during the dancing. At the reception, we may use a small on camera light in order to capture important dances that would otherwise be dark.
- What if our church has rules about photography & videography ?
- We always talk with the pastor, priest or officiant of your ceremony to discover any rules they may have in their venue. We will abide by their rules and advice you any difficulties (if any) the rules have on capturing your wedding. We have not yet had a problem abiding by venue rules and still producing a beautiful wedding video.
