Excellent intro!

Agree, love the intro, Smooth Camera work and transitions, the Chicago Bulls Music always sets the scene. I recently made a basketball video for my team to promote the 2004 season using highlights from practice games.

I guess it depends on your client the the audience they intend to show it to but I tried to mix it up having short sharp highlights as well as longer plays. I also filmed each quarter from a different angle, eg baseline up close to the players (but you probably didn't film the game yourself for that option).

Only tip I'd give you is if possible to cut out the referee on the "Blocked Shot" as you can see they actually called a foul. Maybe zoom in or put some sort of Logo over the ref. Like I said depends on the audience though as a non basketballer probably wouldn't even notice.

Good job though its given me some ideas!!

Thanks, I can't take credit for the camera work though. I captured the footage off of 10 vhs tapes. He gave me the capture points off each one. (example 32:05-32:10) The total time of the video was 15 min. There was about 80 clips I captured.
I didn't think the quality came out bad for vhs capture.

I think you did an excellent job and the fading from each play made it look like one continuous game without the boring parts!! I'm sure your client was very happy with the result

Very well done, especially the intro.
