Well here's the deal, that's the image of my menu I want, but in the blank polaroids I want a video clip to be playing in each of them.

Also when one is selected how can I make the area highlight with a stroke over the word? Let me know, thanks!

create video buttons of the blank polaroids and then just creat a stroke for the highlights..

Also, try reverse engineering an adobe supplied menu template. Some of them highlight with strokes similar to what you want. All the menus are simple psd files. Just open them in PS and barrow their ideas for your own menu.

BTW; Clever idea for a menu.

video button creation is tut #07 in the basic section (green) of the Encore 1.5 page
and look to tut #03 from the same section for creating the stroke..

Ok it looks fine, but how come I have no audio when I preview but when I goto the monitor tab it plays sound just fine?

Use the automatic settings for compression.
As Ann says you need to render menu's to have them play back.
I'm not sure but I also think you are only allowed to use a certain amount of memory setting up motion menu's. I think it's 1Gb.

What is a good compression setting for rendering out of Adobe After Effects? I used uncompressed AVI and also microsoft DV, but the microsoft DV has terrible quality... Can someone show me what they use please? this is an emergency... screenshots would be appreciated very much
