When DVD completes burning in Encore it automatically ejects the disc.
Is there any way to disable this?
Doogs
Nope, don't think so, I couldn't see anything in the Encore Preferences to disable this feature huh.gif

Whenever I finish my editing/menu jobs and let encore start the encoding/burning process, there is a bit of tension in the mind whether the process will be successful or not.. Almost all the times it has been successful. When it automatically ejects the disc after completion of the job, it gives a sigh of relief to me that the process has been a success.. I can't understand why u don't want to feel the "experience of satisfaction". B)

My satisfaction is lowered because my tower has door that covers the DVD drives. So I have to remember to keep it open. Also, sometimes the transcribing can take 5-6 hours so I let the computer work overnight and then the drive sits open for another 5 hours getting dust inside. Just a little pain, but to me pain regardless!

I always transcode the videos and audio before building the DVD. The DVD build and writing just takes a few minutes. If you did that you wouldn't need to leave the doors open.

ASH: I feel the same "experience of satisfaction" as you do when the disc is ejected! smile.gif

glados: I removed my door from my Chieftec tower just because of this. So if you can, remove the door from the tower. smile.gif
