I have a copy of my DVD where I copied the vob files and renamed them to .mpeg which Encore seems to understand most of them except for one of these it thinks its a audio file.
ie when I preview with PowerDVD I can view the file but Encore just shows a black screen (audio only no video).
The most frustation thing is all the other vob files (4 in total) are fine, although I havent yet attempted to burn them yet.
So how do I get my video back into Encore for re-editting?

You have to remember that Encore is not an editor for MPEG, it is an Authoring package

thanks for the actually I just wanted to improve or add a menu to the current DVD video...So I don't actually need to edit the video just add menus to the current video.
