just wondering if it was possible in Encore?
i know in other programs you can have a short video clip playing in the backround of the dvd menu..
any help would be appreciated

Yes. It's called a "Motion menu". Encore will allow you to use a 15 second video clip as a background.

DUH.. I forgot to mention on how to do it.. :o :lol:
import the video footage into Encore. Then have a blank menu up and running (4:3 or 16:9 depending on your footage). And then hold down the ALT key and click and drag/drop the footage onto the open menu.
You can get around the 15 seconds that Encore sets, simply by exporting the video and audio as seperate files from your video editor and then drag and drop them onto the menu as seperate items, and then set the LOOP to FOREVER from the menu properties..

You can have any length background video that you want in Encore. The 15-second limitation is for motion buttons, and only if the menu background is static and silent.
