I am new with Adobe Encore, but is it possible to trim parts of the Video (for example commercials)?

If so, please let me know how...

Hi and welcome to the forums.

It is only possible to trim the head and tail of a timeline.. that is all.. you will need to use a video editor to cut parts of the timeline..

To trim the head and tail of a timeline, just hover your mouse pointer near the start/end until the cursor changes to a red ] with a double ended arrow through it,and then just click and drag the timeline to shorten it...
