Showing the efforts of employees to raise money for a local charity food drive.

This is on an eval account for 15 days, so it won't be around long.

Comments?

Pretty good, but you may have wanted to use the rule of thirds a little more on some of your shots. Also, when you were showing things, such as the shots of the pancakes, I would have paced things a little faster, because it's like oook we see it next shot.... But over all I can see you put a lot of hard work into it good job. If it hasn't already been distributed, I would fix those little things.

Nicely done....I'm a sucker for a pancake breakfast :P

Well done...

Thanks for the comments so far.

It was a 'rush job', and yes, it has been 'distributed'....

At 5:30 pm last wednesday (2/2) it was basically 'done', except for 2 minor edits ... at 9:45 pm premiere reported 'this file was created with a newer version of Adobe Premiere' . Yikes! , couldnt read the project file.... thank god for archive... it was reconstructed the next day... and all was well.

Yikes! Did you ever figure out the reason for premiere not reading it? Also how did you "archive" it?

No, not really, couldn't figure that one out. Searched through the Adobe forums and also through google. Found a couple other people who encountered the same problem !!.... Some very odd behavior on the part of Premiere. Essentially, the project file was corrupted.

Premiere keeps an archive copy of project in an archive folder, up to whatever number you specify in 'options'... I has specified 5 archives, and fortunately found it there. Whew!!

Very well done for a rush job. Sounds like you had some buzzing problems with the wireless lavalier microphone. Did you ever figure that out?

One little point: watch out for the tree and other vertical objects growing out of people's heads. Melissa wasn't too noticeable, but you may want to make sure the tree is well off to the side next time.

Otherwise, it looked like you covered a lot of ground and people.

The buzzing problem is a mystery to me. It's not on the raw footage, and it is not in the project. This was also put on DVD and it's not in the MPEG files. So, it's a mystery. The buzzing only appears in the WMV file?? Something in the encode process created that buzz but I am at a loss to explain what it was.

Tress growing out of people's heads, hmmm, yea, I know that... but trees don't grow out of people's heads .... Unfortunately in the one shot (Melissa) ... a change in angle one way or the other would have resulted in some lighting problems. This was a VERY bright atrium, with sun coming in from currounding glass... I could not easily cahange the shot without getting shadows or weird lighting. I was willing to live with it.

Yes we covered a lot of ground. Total raw footage 'shoot time' was 1.5 hours... cut down to just under 10 minutes.
