Hey Paul,

That was very nice..

Johnbmx4christ:

I tell you if you spend just half an hour on the new software you are going to get results faster and with more tools to playwith you will be able to develop much better effects in Adobe Premiere CS4 version. AE requires more time to learn though.

Ash... I just had to buy a new computer so I am really not able to get the latest version of Premiere. It probably costs more than the computer I got! I am going to try playing some with Premiere Elements.

I just upgraded my AP6,5 to Premiere Pro CS4 ($299 Upgrade price). Looks a little different but works basically the same. I still have problems finding things in the effects bins becasue they have changed places, but I'm sure I'll work my way through it.

That being said, I would not have upgraded if I weren't forced to by OS upgrades (Vista 64). Also, nothing beats AfterEffects for SFX. I still use AE 5.5 and it works great! Premiere is still clunky for SFX if you are used to AE. I needed Premiere becasue of how it handles large numbers of clips, which it still does a great job of. Just my $.02 worth...

Slakrboy... Let me know how you do with Premiere Pro CS4. I am so far behind! I got to Premiere Pro (the old one) and that is as far as I got!

Paul...if you have worked with PPRO...then you won't have a problem moving forward with the new versions. Other than moving around the effects filters and adding a few new ones...the CS version works basically the same.
