For some strange reason I have begun to get a "writer not found" error when I try to export using adobe media encoder or adobe clip notes - I did however purchase CS4 and installed it - it seemed to start when that was installed but I am not 100% sure - so i did uninstall CS4 and still have the problem - i have done some google searches, adobe forum searches but nothing seems to work or fix the problem -

I am using vista - I have tried the fix below after searching the forums but i get some sort of error about programs is not a reconized internal or external command, operable command or batch file - not sure what I am doing wrong -



Go to the location where Premiere Elements is installed, lets say "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0"
Now press Window + R to launch the run dailog (you can press start and run also)
Now enter cmd in the dialog to launch command prompt
At the command prompt write the following:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0\WMEncodingHelper.exe" /RegServer
Press Enter
Write "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0\WMEncodingHelper.exe" /RegServer32
Press Enter again
No retry the encoding and see if it works.

I went in and tried exporting use the adobe encoder and everything else exports except windows media and clip notes - clip notes is the biggest thing that I need to work - i have looked for solutions and everything - even went as far as downloading and installing windows media encoder v9 - nothing -
